Colour: ruby red with violet tones.
Aroma: intense red fruit notes, with light hints of spices and "boisé".
Taste: medium bodied to the palate, mature tannins, and notes of spices and "boisé", with a finish of mature fruits.
Variety: Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 100%. Vineyard: in the province of Pescara. Training system: traditional overhead trellis system "pergola" of Abruzzo region. Yield per hectare: 12 t/ha. Harvest: by hand in the first half of October, accurate grape selection. Vinification: fermentation a 30º C , with frequent pump-over "délestages", and maceration for over 10 days in 150 hl vats. Malolactic Fermentation: complete. Ageing: 5-6 months 30% in oak barrels and 70% in vats. Alcohol volume: 13% vol.
